ESB Mobility Award for Early Career Researchers
Field: Biomechanics
- Description: The European Society of Biomechanics invites applications for its mobility award for young researchers. This provides financial assistance for collaborative research in a foreign country as part of a PhD or early postdoctoral research. Applicants must be either PhD students enrolled at a university or a research institute, or postdoctoral researchers with less than one year after receiving their PhD degree. Both the applicant and the scientist responsible at the foreign lab must be ESB members in good standing. The lab visit should be to another country than where the student is enrolled for his or her PhD studies or postdoctoral research. The applicant and supervisor should not have any joint publications with the scientist in charge during the last five years. Two awards, worth up to €4,000 each, are available for research visits of two to six months’ duration. Funding may be used towards travel costs, living expenses and potential project related costs.
